The candlelight service was conducted at the First Lutheran church at 9 o'clock Sunday evening with the Rev. O. A. Langehough officiating at the double ring ceremony. They were attended by Delores Pike of Albert Lea, sister of the bride and Lester Schultz of Grafton. Ushers were Elmer Schultz and John Langehough. The bridegroom wore his Navy uniform and the bride was attired in a white chiffon gown over satin. Following the ceremony, a dinner prepared by Mrs. Sever Halvorsen was served at the home of the bride's parents. A beautiful three-tiered wedding cake formed the centerpiece of the bride's table. The bride is a graduate of the St. Ansgar high school and the bridegroom attended the Grafton high school. The bridegroom must report to Bremerton, Washington on January 1, where he will be assigned to a destroyer for sea duty. His bride will continue her position at the local telephone office until her husband's return.
