Sedlacek, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Joe E. Sedlacek and Claude A. Best, son of the late Mrs. Amy Best of Osage, IA were united in marriage at the Methodist parsonage in Albert Lea, MN Sunday afternoon, October 23nd, at 1 o'clock, the Rev. John Hall officiating. They were accompanied to Albert Lea by Claire Mueller and Irene Fossey who acted as witnesses. The bride wore light blue crepe and carried a bouquet of tea roses. The bridesmaid was also attired in blue. Immediately after the ceremony, the bridal party left for Minneapolis for a short honeymoon. Mrs. Best has resided with her parents on the Sedlacek farm east of St. Ansgar since childhood. She is a graduate of the St. Ansgar high school and since completing her schooling has been the reliable and efficient assistant of her mother in the home. Mr. Best is a graduate of the Osage high school and a business school in Milwaukee, following which he was associated with Joe Seimer in the dry cleaning business in Osage. A year ago last June he came to St. Ansgar and has conducted a similar business under the name of the St. Ansgar Cleaners. Recently he rented the Steuerwald building which Dr. Steuerwald has remodeled and is this week moving his cleaning establishment to the new quarters. The young people will make their home in the same building. They will be at home to their friends after October 15th.
