Father Baxter officiating. The bride wore a floor length white satin dress with a long lace veil which was fastened to a halo cap. She was attended by her sister, Miss Florence Taets who was dressed in a floor length peach taffeta dress with a peach flower crown and finger tip veil. Both carried bouquets of snapdragons. The best man was John Boerjan. Immediately following the ceremony the bridal party returned to St. Ansgar for a wedding breakfast at the Elroy Cafe. This was followed by a dinner and reception at the home of the bride's parents. The young couple will be at home on the farm operated by the bridegroom a short distance north of town.
