K. Tollefson of Bristol, South Dakota, were married at high noon on Wednesday, June 11th,1930 at the home of the bride's sister and husband, Mr. & Mrs. Albert Thompson, at Faribault, MN. Dr. M. E. Waldeland, former pastor of the First Lutheran Church of St. Ansgar, now of Northfield, MN, performed the ceremony. The ring ceremony was used with little Gwendolyn Thompson acting as ring bearer. After the ceremony, the wedding guests were served a two course lunch by Mrs. Thompson. Mrs. Tollefson has had a position in Minneapolis for the last five years, previous to that having a successful career as a school teacher. Mr. Groth was born on the Groth homestead, 1 1/2 miles north of St. Ansgar, and has lived there all of his life, having farmed the place for himself the last five years. He and his bride have gone on a trip to northern Minnesota and on their return will be at home on the farm.
