Richard Stebbins. M. D. , and druggist, was born in Springfield, Mass., in 1824.
He was educated for a physician; removed to Council Bluffs in 1857, and engaged
in the practice of medicine; remained there six months; removed to Onawa, and
continued the practice of his profession, and engaged in the drug business in
1864. He was married in 1859 to Mary J. Billings, and has a son and a daughter.
