Norby celebrated their silver wedding anniversary at the church in Soldier Sunday. They were married 25 years ago last Saturday, January 4. A big dinner was held at noon. Table decorations were in silver and a large four tier wedding cake adorned the center of the table. As soon as dinner was over a short program was given. Mrs. Wallace Hanson gave a reading, a sextette consisting of Nadine Wingate, Margaret Norby, Leone Rustin, Helen Larson, Marietta Norby and Marjorie Norby, sang a couple of selections, and Rev. Tweet read a few poems and gave a short talk. After the program a gift of silver was presented the honored couple. Those present besides the Ole G. Norby family were: Mrs. Bertha Norby and Clifford, Mrs. And Mrs. Edwin Norby, Margaret and Marietta; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Norby and family, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar L. Larson, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Rustin and family, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Rustin, Mrs. Hilda Hanson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Hanson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Hersel Hanson, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Wingate and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harlow Wingate, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Larson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Caryl Middleton, Miss Corrinne Cusick Rev. Tweet and his mother and brother, Ira. The Sentinel congratulates Mr. and Mrs. Norby on the silver wedding and we wish for them many more happy years of wedded life.
