Soldier Sentinel 1931
HELEN  NORBY              Contributor:  about 1931

	Miss Helen Norby, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ole G. Norby has taken a 
position as bookkeeper with Soldier Valley Savings Bank and started work at 
her new position the first of the week.  Helen graduated from Soldier high 
school with the class of 1930.  She has been attending college at Northfield 
this year.
	Her grandfather, the late H. L. Wingate was the first president and 
principal owner of this bank after it passed from the hands of James F. Toy to 
local men.  Mr. Wingate served as president of the bank until he died several 
years later.
