Soldier Sentinel October 1944
MANY ATTEND SILVER WEDDING SUNDAY

	About 200 friends and relatives gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. 
George Lee Sunday afternoon and evening, October 15 to help them celebrate 
their 25th wedding anniversary.  A delicious lunch was served late in the 
afternoon.  Mr. and Mrs. Lee received many nice gifts.
	Those attending from out of the community were:  Mrs. Launie Meadows, 
Mrs. Charles Meyer, Mr. Ray Meadows, Beverly, Barbara and Donna and Mrs. 
George Davis, all of Denison; Mrs. Mae Jerup and June of Sioux City, Mr. and 
Mrs. Wm. Meadows of Onawa, Mrs. Elliott Lee and Beth and Mrs. Matt Brown of 
Mapleton, Mr. and Mrs. Bennett Lee of Lohrville.  Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Graetz 
and son of Athens, Ga., Floyd Flynn of Alabama, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Lee, Mr. 
and Mrs. Murl Lee and sons and Miss Dora Sundahl of Woodbine, Supt. And Mrs. 
Amos Lee and Helen of Des Moines, Donna Lee of Omaha, Nebr., Mrs. Joe 
Peterson, Roger and Bryce of Hazel, Minn.
	The Sentinel wishes Mr. and Mrs. Lee many more such happy 
anniversaries.
