BESSIE V. TAYLOR                         (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Mrs. Bessie Taylor, resident of Salix, Iowa for the past 50 years, 
passed away June 10, 1977 at Onawa, Iowa. 
	She was born April 5, 1899 at Moorhead, Iowa, the daughter of Oscar 
and Hilda Hedum Solberg.
	She was united in marriage to Joe Adams in 1917.  She was united in 
marriage to John Taylor on October 18, 1921.  John preceded her in death on 
October 29, 1963.  
	Survivors include one son, Jack Taylor of Los Angeles, California; two 
daughters, Miss Clarice Adams of Los Angeles, California and Mrs. Donald 
(Odessa) Sams of Salix, Iowa; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; one 
sister, Mrs. Hollis Hamilton of Salix, Iowa; three brothers, LaVern Solberg of 
Moorhead, Iowa, William Solberg of Denison, Iowa and Raymond Solberg of Elk 
Point, South Dakota.
	She was preceded in death by her husband, John, her parents, two 
brothers, and two sisters.
