	Frances Whiting Allen, 80, Onawa, Iowa, died Monday, April 12, 1993, 
at Onawa, Iowa.
	She was born December 31, 1912, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the daughter 
of Willard and Lulu (Bishop) Whiting.    On March 17, 1943, she married Sewell 
E. Allen in Washington, D.C.   Mr. Allen died June 28, 1975, in Onawa.
	
	Survivors include one son, Stephen W. Allen and his fiancee, Gina, of 
Onawa, a daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Allyson “Lisa) Reinhardt of Minnetonka, MN, 
five grandchildren, Thomas Allen and his wife, Melissa, of Wichita, KS, and 
Anthony Allen of Onawa, Melissa Reinhardt of St. Peter, MN, Rebecca Reinhardt 
of LaCrosse, WI, and Timothy Reinhardt of Minnetonka, one great grandson, 
Christopher, one brother and his wife, Norman and Mary Whiting of Ames, and 
one sister, Louise Gillespie of Ames.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister, 
Elizabeth Schwartz.
