ARNOLD AMUNDSON
   CALLED TO REST                      (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Arnold Silas Amundson, son of Casper and Anna (Severson) was born 
February 7, 1905 at Soldier, Iowa.    On August 9, 1933 he was united in 
marriage to Gladys Gantz at Onawa, Iowa.  This union was blessed with two 
sons.    Mr. Amundson departed this life on Friday, February 7, 1975 at an 
Omaha hospital in Omaha, Nebr.   He is survived by his wife, Gladys, of Ute, 
Iowa; one son of Omaha, Nebr. and three sisters, Mrs. Charles (Alice) Dommer, 
Sr. of Ute, Miss Myrtle Amundson and Mrs. Stanley (Helen) Levy both of 
Soldier, Iowa.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one son.
