Ruth R. Amundson							1995

	Ruth R. Amundson, 66, of Soldier, Iowa, died Saturday, March 18, 1995, 
at Elmwood Care Centre in Onawa.
	She was born May 14, 1928, in Waiblingen, Germany, the daughter of 
Karl and Emile (Runft) Schafer.  She attended school in Germany.  On November 
16, 1954, she married Richard Arlen Amundson in Waiblingen, Germany.  Mr. 
Amundson died July 31, 1976, at Omaha, NE.  
	She was a member of the Soldier Lutheran Church.
	Survivors include two sons; two grandsons; her mother, Emilie Baur of 
Backnang, Germany, and two brothers, Kurt Waibel in Germany and Ernest Waibel 
in Australia.
	She was preceded in death by a son, Hans George Amundson.
