	Leland Francis Bachman was born April 11, 1909, in Stahl, Mo.,  son of 
Charles and Edith (Morelock) Bachman, and died Friday, July 8, 1988, at the 
Allison Care Center in Allison.
	He married Edna Mae Beyers July 21, 1933 in Pella, Iowa.
Mrs. Bachman died September 16, 1977.
	On October 1, 1978, he married Marjorie (Flitton) Andrews in Greene.  
	Survivors include his wife, Marjorie of Greene, two sons, Dr. Charles 
R. Bachman of Buffalo, N.Y., and Dr. Lyle Bachman of Savory, Ill., four 
stepdaughters, Mrs. John (Martha) Deines of Cedar Falls, Mrs. Duane (Marjorie) 
Enabnit of Marble Rock, Mrs. Justin (Marilyn) Watson of Cedar Rapids, and Mrs. 
Dennis (Melinda) McWilliams of Bristow; six grandchildren, eleven step 
grandchildren, and a step great grandchild, and a sister, Mrs. Ross (Lola) 
Ramsey, of Brooklyn, Iowa.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, two brothers, 
Glen and Gerald Bachman and one granddaughter, StephanieBachman.
