Frances L. Baker

Frances L. Baker, 95, of Albert City, Iowa, formerly of Sioux City, died 
Monday, March 15, 1999, at an Albert City nursing home.

Mrs. Baker was born Jan. 29, 1904, in Mapleton, Iowa, the daughter of Wesley 
and Sarah (Goodall) Martindale. 
She married Milo E. Baker on June 5, 1930, in Sioux City. He died July 6, 
1975. 

Survivors include a daughter and her husband of Albert City; five 
grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Ina Phoebe Smith of 
Mapleton; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Glenn, Merrill, Leo and Clemens 
Martindale; and two sisters, Viola McCleerey and Alma Smith.
