ARLA NADINE NORBY
   BALLANTYNE			(From the collection of Vivian Norby Andersen)

	Arla Nadine Norby Ballantyne was born July 25, 1916 at Soldier, Iowa 
to Edwin and Cora Norby.  She passed away suddenly on May 16, 1977 at the 
Burgess Memorial Hospital at Onawa.
	
	On July 8, 1933 she married Kleon W. Ballantyne.
	
	This marriage was blessed with two daughters . Survivors besides her 
husband and two daughters are two granddaughters; two greatgranddaughters;  
four sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Glau, Pisgah; Mrs. Delores Blundell of Ashland, 
Oregon; Mrs. Marietta McCauley of Pisgah, Iowa and Mrs. Margaret Bergerson of 
Seattle, Washington.
