	Etheleen Irene Bellis, 67, of Onawa, Iowa, died Wednesday, October 28, 
1992, at Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa.
	She was born July 8, 1925, south of Ute, Iowa, to Edward and Minnie 
(Torgerson) Meadows.   She married Robert Bellis on August 19, 1941, in Dakota 
City, NE.   He died December 11, 1984, in Onawa.

	Survivors include one daughter and her husband, Irene and Kenneth 
Mings of Onawa, three sons and their wives, Gary and Mary Bellis, Jerry and 
Pat Bellis, and Tony and Dixie Bellis, all of Onawa, ten grandchildren, Laura 
and her husband, Tim Robinson of Hutchinson, MN, Bob Bellis  of Modale, IA, 
Shawn Bellis of Onawa, Jodie and his husband, Bill Nielsen of Sioux City, 
Iowa, Kevin Mings, of Onawa, Kim and her husband, Jeff Gray of Ames, IA, 
Jeremy Bellis of Onawa, Brenda and her husband, Pete Thrift of Sioux City, 
Staci and her husband, Tracy Bird of Whiting, six great grandchildren, Todd 
and Lisa Robinson, J. J. Gray, Tyler Thrift, Kayla Bird, and Adam Bellis, and 
a sister, Leona Sweet of Onawa.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and three 
brothers, Everett, Arthur, and Wilmer Meadows.
