         Mrs. Alfred Benson, 85, of Pierson died Tuesday in Anthon, IA.
	Mrs. Benson, the former Anna Grace Tollufson, was born July 9, 1901, 
in Soldier.   She married Alfred E. Benson July 22, 1921, in Soldier Mr. 
Benson died May 31, 1982.  
	
	Survivors include three sons, Bernard and Marvin, both of Pierson, and 
Donald of California, Md; two daughters, Mrs. William (Norma) Clausen of 
Anthon and Mrs. LeRoy (Dorothy) Struve of Pierson; 18 grandchildren and 19 
great-grandchildren.
