	Helen K. Bentley, 83, of Onawa, died Saturday, August 13, 1988, at 
Pleasant View Nursing Home in Whiting.
	She was born October 24, 1904, near Onawa, Iowa to William and Mary 
(Miller) Ott.  On February 17, 1932, she married George Rupp Bentley at 
Omaha.    Mr. Bentley died June 19, 1981, at Onawa.
	Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Stanley 
(Kathleen) Anderson of Coupeville, Wash., a son and daughter-in-law, Charles 
and Joyce Bentley of Onawa, a brother, William of Fresno, Calif, and four 
grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, Frank, Ralph, 
George, Harry, Lawrence, and Fred, and two sisters, Mrs. Ed (Mabel) Dehn and 
Mrs. Fred (Nora) Fisher.
