GOLDIE F. BRENDEN                       (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Goldie Florence Brenden, 79, Sloan, Iowa, passed away December 5, 
1981, at Burgess Memorial Hospital, Onawa, Iowa.
	She was born October 4, 1902, in Lake Township, Monona County, Iowa to 
Edward John Anderson and Ida Christine Swanson Anderson.  On June 28, 1924, 
she was united in marriage with Glenn Brenden at Sioux City, Iowa.
	
	Survivors include her husband, Glenn, two daughters; two sons; one 
brother, Carl Anderson, Whiting, four sisters; ten grandchildren and eight 
great great grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two 
sisters.
