MARVIN R. BRITTON                   (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Marvin Rudolph Britton, son of Martin and Augusta Britton, was born 
September 3, 1907 at Soldier, Iowa.  
	On August 17, 1929 he was united in marriage to Merle Mortensen of 
Moorhead, Iowa.  This union was blessed with two sons and two daughters.
		Marvin departed this life July 14, 1976 at Burgess Memorial 
Hospital, Onawa, Iowa.  He is survived by his wife, Merle, two daughters, two 
sons, and his mother, Augusta Britton of Soldier, two sisters, Mrs. Herbert 
Mordhorst of Ute and Mrs. Harry Nelsen of Algonquin, Ill., two brothers, 
Arnold of Sun City, Calif. and George of Martelle, Iowa, eleven grandchildren 
and one great grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his father, Martin 
Britton and one grandson.
