Augusta Emilie (Amundsen) Britton was born June 15, 1885, in Urskog, Norway.  
	 She was married to Martin Britton, September 25, 1905.  Martin died 
in 1970.
	  She passed away on June 15, 1979, in a Sioux City hospital.
	Survivors include two sons, Arnold of Sun City, California, and George 
of Martelle, Iowa; two daughters, Mrs. Herbert (Helen) Mordhorst of Ute, and 
Ruby Nelsen of Algonquin, Illinois; 18 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; 
and six great-great-grandchildren.  Besides her husband Martin and son Marvin, 
she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister, one 
grandson and one great grandson.
