	Bruce L. “Brownie” Brown, 78, of Blencoe, Iowa, died Monday, September 
9, 1991, at Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa.
	He was born May 9, 1913, in Volney, Iowa, to Rufus and Mary (Vaughn) 
Brown.   On July 14, 1937, he married Mildred Jepson in Moorhead.  
	Survivors include his wife, Mildred, three daughters, Mrs. Dan 
(Bonnie) Matthaidess of Rochester, NY, Mrs. Bruce (Barbara) Coulter of 
Lakewood, CO, and Mrs. Robert (Beverly) Collison of Blencoe, eight 
grandchildren, one brother, Wray Brown of Davenport, and one sister, Agnes 
Hawkins of Rossville, Iowa.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Roy, Charles, 
William, and Darwin and two sisters, Ethel and Sarah.
