	Thayer E. Brown, Sr., Turin, died on Tuesday, August 15, 1989, in 
Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa, 
	He was born March 14, 1894,  near Turin.    He married Mary Jo 
Henrikson on September 6, 1916, at her parents’ home near Moorhead.  Mrs. 
Brown died October 19, 1985, in Whiting.
	Survivors include a son, Thayer Brown II of Turin, two daughters, Mrs. 
Earl (Christy) Moore of Evansville, Ind., and Mrs. Frank E. (Betty) Robinson 
of Fort Pierce, Fla., eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and two 
great great grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers, Harl 
and Claude, and two sisters, Edna Baker and Fay Rowland.
