Lawrence M. Cameron                       (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Lawrence M. Cameron, 77, of Pharr, Texas, and a former Mapleton, Iowa, 
resident, died Monday, May 20, 1985, in the M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, 
Texas.
	Lawrence was born January 12, 1908, to David and Dora Cameron.  On 
March 2, 1935, he married Norma Baier of Sloan, Iowa.  
	He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother.
	Survivors include his wife, Norma of Pharr, Texas, and one daughter of 
Key Largo, Florida.  Also surviving are four grandchildren and two great-
grandchildren.
