Roy R. Carlson                            (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Roy R. Carlson, lifelong resident of the Turin area, died at Burgess 
Memorial Hospital in Onawa on December 10, 1985.  
	He was born on a farm near Turin on May 21, 1907,  His parents were 
Carl J. Carlson and Jennie Anderson Carlson
	He was affiliated with the United Methodist Church at Turin.
	Survivors include a sister-in-law of Turin, two nephews, and two 
nieces.  He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Albert, 
Lawrence and Charley, an infant sister, and a nephew, Kevin Lee Carlson.
