	Mrs. Helen Carlson was born near Maple Landing in Monona county, Iowa 
on February 1, 1883 and passed from this life in the Onawa hospital early on 
Thursday morning, October 31, 1957
	On December 5, 1905 she was united in marriage with Peter Carlson at 
Turin, Iowa.  To this union one daughter was born.  Mr. Carlson preceded her 
in death about 11 years ago.
	
	Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Edward Hadden of Castana; two 
grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
