	Eva M. Carlson, 90, lifetime resident of Whiting, Iowa, died Saturday, 
July 29, 1995, at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Whiting.
	Mrs. Carlson was born December 1, 1904, in rural Whiting, Iowa, the 
daughter of William and Fannie (Fegenbush) Deen.  She attended the Deen 
Country School in rural Whiting.  On July 3, 1924, she married Harold Carlson 
in Whiting.  He passed away January 4, 1975 in Pender, NE. 
	
	Survivors include a daughter and her husband; a daughter-in-law; a 
sister, nine grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and several nieces 
and nephews.
	She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Jack, on 
March 4, 1984; three brothers, Darrel, Dewayne, and Dallas; and a sister, 
Clarabelle.
