Blanche Carritt                                (From the collection of Vivian 
Norby Andersen)

	Blanche Mary Carritt, 76, Onawa, Iowa, passed away January 20, 1984, 
at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Whiting, Iowa.
          She was born March 8, 1907 at Onawa, Iowa, to Joseph and Elizabeth 
Green Allen.  On February 11, 1924, she was united in marriage with 
Louis “Dooley” Carritt at Elk Point, S.D.    Mr. Carritt died March 29, 1977, 
at Sioux City.  
	Survivors include:  three sons, two daughters, eleven grandchildren 
and four great grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers 
and two grandchildren.
