	1998

	UTE, Iowa – Clara Johanna Carritt, 84, of Ute died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 
1998, at St. Joeph(sic) Hospital in Omaha, Neb.
	
	Mrs. Carritt was born April 1, 1913, near Ute, the daughter of Hartwig 
and Mary (Rabe) Neubaum.  She graduated from Soldier (Iowa) High School in 
1930.
	She married Joseph Carritt on Aug. 22, 1931, in Omaha. He died April 
8, 1996.
	She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
