	Janyce Irene Carritt was born July 5, 1920, in Blencoe, and passed 
away in Missouri Valley on July 12, 1990.  Thomas R. (Tommy) Carritt was born 
August 6, 1919, in Jordan Township and passed away July 13, 1990 following a 
car accident Thursday evening, July 12.  They were married May 17, 1939, in 
Onawa.  
	Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Patty and Don Van 
Soelen of Council Bluffs; and Sally and George Glasier of Edmonton, Alberta, 
Canada; seven grandchildren, Kirk and Pam Parsons, Paula VanSoelen, David and 
Jenny VanSoelen, Peg and Tom Van Soelen, Jodi and Cathy Jo Glasier; two great 
grandchildren. Janyce has one brother, Earl Perry of Blencoe and one sister, 
Kathryn Howschultz of Blencoe; Tommy has three brothers, Joe Carritt of Ute, 
Kenny Carritt of Little Sioux, and Harold Carritt of Fremont, Neb.
