E. Joan Chamberlain

	E. Joan Chamberlain, 52, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Sioux City and 
rural Soldier area died at Humana Hospital on June 24, 1986.
	
	Joan, youngest daughter of Jesse F. and Hattie Davis Chedester was 
born November 30, 1933 at home near Soldier.  
	Joan was united in marriage to Robert Chamberlain on October 22, 1955 
at the Turin Methodist Church.
	Survivors include two sons; three grandchildren, four sisters, Hazel 
Pohlman of Ute, Audrey Martindale of Onawa, Shirley Buter of Anderson Island, 
Wash. and Lois Gallagher of Omaha.
	Preceding her in death were her parents, two sisters, Lola and 
Marjorie, and a brother, Roland
