MADELINE P. CHRISTENSEN          (From the collection of Vivian Norby Andersen)

	Madeline P. Christensen,  passed away April 8, 1976.  
	She was born January 1, 1903 on a farm near soldier, Iowa; the 
daughter of Mathew and Laura Hanson Mathison.  She was united in marriage to 
Vernon Christensen on November 12, 1924 at Onawa, Iowa.  
	
	Survivors include her husband, Vernon at Onawa; one son or  Denver, 
Colo., one daughter of Omaha, Neb., three sisters, Mrs. Gordon (Bertha) Mann 
of Ute, Iowa, Mrs. James (Nadine) Hartigan of Ute, Iowa and Mrs. Lynn (Mabel) 
Mann of Onawa, Iowa; three brothers, Conrad Mathison of Moorhead, Harold 
Mathison of Ute and Howard Mathison of Omaha, Neb., five grandchildren, six 
great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
	She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, James Robert and 
a brother, Kenneth Mathison.
