SOLDIER LADY
DIES AT AMES                              (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Mrs. Maryann Christensen of Ames, a former resident of the Soldier 
community for many years, passed away at Ames, IA April 5.  She was the former 
Maryann Kalskett, born June 3, 1894 at Moorhead, Iowa.  She married Tony 
Christensen who preceded her in death several years ago.
	
	She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony, and her four sons, 
Loyd, Maurice, Clark and Robert.  She is survived by five sisters, Nel 
Kalskett of Soldier, Millie Sorensen of Onawa, Mrs. Jens Johnson of Belmond, 
and Helen and Gusta of Colorado.
