Vernon C. Christensen                        (From the collection of Vivian 
Norby Andersen)

	Vernon Christian Christensen, Onawa, Iowa, died suddenly on Sunday, 
June 17, 1984, at Onawa.  
	He was born September 19, 1902, in Kimballton, Iowa, the son of Andrew 
C. and Wilhemena Bramsen Christensen.   On November 12, 1924, he married 
Madeline Mathison at Onawa.  She died at Onawa, on April 8, 1976.
	
	Survivors include one son of Northglenn, Colorado; a daughter of 
Omaha, Nebraska; a sister, Mrs. Wilbur (Marie) Skow of Moorhead; five 
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his 
parents, his wife, a son James Robert and three brothers, Harry, Edward, and 
Elmer.
