John Christensen                            (From the collection of Vivian 
Norby Andersen)

	John Christensen, 87, of Moorhead, Iowa, passed away March 1, 1985, at 
Burgess Memorial Hospital, in Onawa, Iowa.
	He was born March 10, 1897, near Moorhead, Iowa, to Marinus and Amelia 
Nickolaisen Christensen.  
	Survivors include two brothers, Marion of Pisgah, Iowa, and Magnus of 
Denver, Colo., a sister, Mrs. Oscar (Esther) Larsen of Onawa, Iowa and a 
number of nieces and nephews.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Enguart and 
Tenus and a sister in infancy.
