Vernon Clemon

	Vernon E. Clemon, 72, died September 20, 1986, at Crawford County 
Hospital, Denison.
	He was born April 7, 1914, in rural Soldier, to Olius and Minnie 
(Erickson) Clemon.   On June 9, 1946, he married Agnes Norby at the Soldier 
Lutheran Church.  
	
	Survivors include  his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Steven (Jean) Rieff of 
Onawa, three sons, Marc and Lee both of Soldier and Wayne of Westminister, 
Colo., two sisters, Mildred Clemon and Lucille Leeper, both of Onawa, two 
brothers, Russell and Myrland, both of Onawa, and six grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Lyle.
