	Margaret V. Coberly, 83, of Moorhead, Iowa, died Saturday, November 2, 
1991, at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Whiting.
	She was born June 12, 1908, at Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of 
Victor and Anna (Peterson) Carlson.  She graduated from East High School in 
Des Moines and received a teaching certificate from Drake University.   She 
married Loren B. Coberly on September 5, 1936, in Des Moines in the First 
Lutheran Church.
	
	Survivors include her husband, Loren, of Moorhead, two sons, Craig and 
his wife, Ann, or Moorhead, and Dennis of Belen, NM, a daughter, Susan 
Coberly, of Garland, TX and five grandchildren, Kelly, Dana, L. Craig, Troy 
and Spring Coberly, and several nieces and nephews.
	She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
