Etta E. Weeks	     (From the collection of Vivian Norby Andresen)

	Etta E. Weeks, 88, Blencoe, Iowa, passed away suddenly on October 23, 
1984, at her home in Blencoe, Iowa.
	She was born September 25, 1896, near Onawa, Iowa, to V. E. and Bertha 
Klemm Boyd.  On April 30, 1918, she was united in marriage to Dick Comfort at 
Blencoe, Iowa.  To this union were born a daughter, Phyllis, and four sons, 
Merle, Donald, Kenneth and John.  Mr. Comfort died December 2, 1932, at 
Blencoe.  She married Frank Weeks on June 24, 1964.  He died December 17, 
1972, at Onawa, Iowa.
	She was a lifetime area resident and was active in community affairs.  
She was a longtime member of the U.C.C. Congregational Church at Blencoe and 
ladies organizations.
	Survivors include, a daughter of Aurelia, Iowa, four sons, sixteen 
grandchildren, several great grandchildren, a brother, Virgil Boyd of Phoenix, 
Ariz., and a sister, Mrs. Florence Matthews of Lawrence, Kan.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, two 
brothers, two sisters, and two granddaughters.
