Fred A. Conyers                          (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Fred Alvin Conyers, 86, Moorhead, Iowa, passed away August 1, 1983, in 
a Bakersfield, California hospital.	
	He was born September 7, 1896, near Moorhead, Iowa, to William X. 
Conyers and Mahaley Frances Dollar Conyers.   In 1921 he married Lillian H. 
Salin Wessell.  She died in 1931.  On October 24, 1933, he married Florence V. 
Conyers at Papillion, Neb.  She died on March 4, 1976.  
	
	He is survived by a daughter of Bakersfield, Calif., one son, 
Moorhead, Iowa, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, many nieces and 
nephews and a host of friends.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, his two wives, his brothers 
and sisters, one grandchild and one great grandchild.
