	E. Louesa Lawson, age 81, of Ute, Iowa, died on Tuesday, July 26, 
1988,  in Denison, Iowa.
	Mrs. Lawson was born on February 22,1907 to Charles and Mattie (Baker) 
Kraft in Center Township, near Ute, Iowa,   She married John Coon on March 17, 
1938, in Onawa, Iowa.  He died in August of 1938.  In March of 1946, she 
married Robert Lawson.  He died in 1958.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, and two 
sisters.
	Survivors include a step-son, James Lawson of Agenda, Kansas; two step-
daughters, Mrs. Donald (Gloria) Colman of Cuba, Kansas, and Mrs. Vern 
(Barbara) Reynolds of Abilene, Kansas; a brother, Ronald Kraft of Veneta, 
Oregon; twelve grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.
