Mary J. Cooper

	Mary J. Cooper, 93, of Ute died Saturday, Dec. 2, 1989, in  Mapleton, 
IA.
	
	Mrs. Cooper, the former Mary Bartholomew, was born Dec. 5, 1895, at 
Moorhead.  She married Roy Cooper Dec. 7, 1912, at Onawa.   Mr. Cooper died in 
1972.  
	Survivors include four daughters, two sons; 21 grandchildren and 25 
great-grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; two sons, Gerald 
and Wade; a son-in-law, Vernon Johnson; two sisters; one brother and one great-
granddaughter.
