Ervin J. Crews                (From the collection of Vivian Norby Andersen)

	Ervin Joseph Crews, Moorhead, Iowa, died Saturday evening June 23, 
1984, at Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa, Iowa.  
	Mr. Crews was born February 8, 1904, at Fort Scott, Kansas, to Charles 
and Lula Wagoner Crews.   He married Alice Stolley January 17, 1942, at Blair, 
Nebraska.
	Survivors include his wife, Alice, of Moorhead; daughter, Mrs. Earl 
(LaBerta) Hinrichsen, son-in-law Earl Hinrichsen, grandson of Moorhead; 
granddaughter, Mrs. Alvin (Kathi) Aubry of Glenwood; one brother, Harold of 
Moorhead; two sisters, Mrs. Chase (Florence) Carson of Pisgah, Iowa, and Mrs. 
Dale (Mildred) Wilson of Kansas City, Missouri, and several nieces and 
nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Clyde, and 
four sisters, Blanche (who died in infancy), Mrs. George (Goldie) Dille, Mrs. 
Walter (Flossie) Gibler, and Delora Crews.
