	Carl M. Dahl, 79, of Onawa and formerly of Soldier, Iowa, died 
Wednesday, January 27, 1993, at St. Joseph Hospital in Omaha.
	He was born July 11, 1993 at Blakesburg, Iowa, the oldest son of Gale 
and Alice (Barnes) Dahl.  
	He married Ellen Christensen of Soldier on July 17, 1937.  
	
	Survivors include his wife, Ellen, of Onawa, a daughter, Lucille and 
her husband, Ervin Zellmer of Kingsley; four grandchildren, Clay Zellmer, and 
his wife, Diana, and Carl Zellmer and his wife, Darla, all of Kingsley, Clark 
Zellmer of St. Louis, MO, and Carolyn Andersen and her husband, Greg, of Sioux 
City, seven great grandchildren, Adam, Andrew, Burgundy, Alyssa, Kaitlyn, 
Austin, and Addison, all of Kingsley, two sisters, Mrs. George (Minnie) Blume 
and Mrs. George (Erma) Hargrove all of Mapleton and one brother, Earl and 
Pearl of Onawa.
	Carl was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Karen Lou; 
three sisters, Mable, Mildred, and Frieda, and one brother, Gale Dahl, Jr.
