Sophia A. Daugaard, 96, of Onawa, Iowa, died Friday, March 8, 1991, at 
Pleasant View Nursing Home, Whiting, Iowa.
She was born November 22, 1894, near Moorhead, Iowa, to Nels Michael and 
Pauline (Nickoliasen) Mikkelson. On  March 10, 1915,  she married Anton 
Daugaard at Moorhead.  Mr. Daugaard died August 23, 1974, in Sioux City. 
	
	Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Harold (Doris) Roth of Aurora, 
Colo., Mrs. Archie (Phyllis) Luhmann of Dayton, Iowa, and Norma McClain of 
Aspen, Colo., one son, Park of Las Vegas, Nev., one brother, Rex Mikkelson, 
three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, 
Donald, three sister(sic), Ellen Madsen, Eleanor Stueland, and Viola Smith and 
her two brothers, Ralph Mikkelson and Walter Mikkelson.
