	Ada Mae Deen, 83, whiting, Iowa, died Monday, February 25, 1991, at 
Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa, Iowa.
	She was born May 4, 1907, at Salem, S.D., to Homer and Birdie 
(Merritt) Cochran.    On September 15, 1924, she married DeWayne Edward Deen 
at Onawa, Iowa.    He died January 12, 1976, at Onawa.  She had three sons, 
Gordon and Donald Deen, both of Whiting, and LaVern Deen of Carroll, Iowa, 
thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. George 
(Cecil) Behrens of Whiting, two stepbrothers, Louis of Maryland, and Francis 
of Nevada, two halfsisters, Lorraine Noble of Hawarden, Iowa and Ruth 
Calombers of Mexico.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one infant 
daughter, and one brother, Lawrence Cochran.
