Andersen)

	Opal Lavon DeLance, 73, Onawa, Iowa, passed away January 15, 1984, at 
St. Luke’s Medical Center, Sioux City, Iowa.
	She was born April 18, 1910, at Moorhead., Iowa, to John and Ethel 
Rush Gardner.  On July 5, 1928, she was united in marriage to Wesley DeLance 
at Moorhead, Iowa.  He died May 31, 1973, at Onawa, Iowa.  
	Survivors include:  3 sons, 5 daughters,  1 sister, Mrs. Gene 
(Corrine) Bavart of Glen Eden Beach, Oregon; 4 brothers, Glenn, Hawarden, 
California, Leon of Shingle Springs, California, Floyd, of Placerville, 
California, and Curtis, Helena, Montana; 21 grandchildren and 7 great 
grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 daughters, 
Carole Elaine in 1935 and Nola Rae in 1945, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
