	Ernest N. DeLashmutt, 96, passed away June 8, 1986, at Burgess 
Memorial Hospital, Onawa, Iowa.
	He was born May 26, 1890, near Onawa, to Nelson and Margaret 
(Tallifero) DeLashmutt.  On April 17, 1912, he married Ruth Beigel at Onawa.  
	Survivors include his wife, Ruth, three daughters, Mrs. Eleanor 
Hubbard of Onawa, Mrs. Vernon (Evelyn) Rock of Blencoe, and Mrs. Dan (LaVonne) 
Anderson of Seattle, Wash., one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Dahl of Whiting, eight 
grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Charles Ernest, 
eight brothers, and one sister.
