DeLashmutt, Ernest N.

	Ernest N. DeLashmutt, 96, lifelong resident of the Onawa area, died 
June 8, 1986, at Burgess Memorial Hospital, Onawa, Iowa.
	He was born May 26, 1890, in Lincoln Township near Onawa, to Nelson 
and Margaret (Telliaferro) DeLashmutt.  On April 17, 1912, he married Ruth 
Beigel at Onawa.  
	
	Survivors include his wife, Ruth, three daughters; one sister, Mrs. 
Gertrude Dahl of Whiting, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and 
three great great grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Charles Ernest, 
eight brothers, and one sister.
