	Vern B. Denney, 66, Onawa, Iowa, died Monday, March 14, 1994, at 
Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa.
	Vern  Denney was born January 13, 1928, at Blencoe, Iowa, the son of 
Floyd H. and Ida (Martin) Denney.   On August 8, 1948, he married Mardell 
Frydenlund at the Soldier Lutheran Church.  
	
	He is survived by his wife, Mardell, children, Cheryl and Steve Miller 
of Sloan, Jolene and Rick Reynolds of Onawa, and Neal Denney and Janie Kiepe 
of Soldier, four grandchildren, Lori Reynolds, Jeremy and his wife, Rikki 
Reynolds, Chad and Matt Miller, one step great granddaughter, Trysta Reynolds, 
his mother, Ida Denney of Onawa, two sisters and their husbands, Marlene and 
Dick Ping of Onawa and Sharon and Charley.
