Joseph Dergans

	Joseph Dergans, 92, of Whiting, formerly of Soldier, died August 17, 
1986 at Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa.
	He was born May 10, 1894, at Earling, Iowa to John and Catherine 
(Gaul) Dergans.   On February 22, 1933, he married Ella Gertrude Flynn at 
Ute.    Mrs. Dergans died February 19, 1965.  
	Survivors include:  a sister, Mrs. Rose Flynn of Mapleton; three 
nephews; and five nieces.
